Public Hearing /New England Telephone
The Clerk read the New England Telephone letters pertaining to four (4)
Petitions to be covered by this public hearing, as follows. Ken Carlson
of the Phone Company was present to answer questions.
- Petition No. 91 -6 - Location for a guide pole for running a cable down
Pine Needle Lane, in conjunction with the Mansfield
Light Department.
- Petition No. 91 -7A & 7B - Conduit locations on East Street and Franklin
Street; extensions off Eastman Street.
- Selectman Pasquale was concerned about busi-
nesses in the Bristol Plaza, especially if the
work was not completed before a weekend; Ken
felt that was unlikely.
- Bill Madan, 461 Franklin Street, addressed a
concern for compaction and satisfactory finish
to the trench.
- Petition No. 91 -8 - One pole needs to be moved up to a higher elevation,
6 -7 feet up the banking for better clearance, due to
regrading of that section of the road.
- Petition No. 91 -9A & 9B - Conduit locations on Eastman Street; for Peti-
tion 91 -9A Ken said he believes the conduit
is already in and this was just a legality.
Petition 91 -9B is a conduit for a new home.
MOTION: To approve the four (4) Petitions for pole locations and conduits
consistent with the petitions.
