MINUTES OF EXECUTIVE SESSION

Town Manager, William Williams 1
Chairman Sarro advised that the reason for this meeting was to discuss the
Town Manager contract and salary. Salectman Tartufo recommended a 5% increase.
The Town Manager said he put 5% in the budget and it would not be prudent to
make it more. He said he would like to be given two more personal days and
more vacation.
Chairman Sarro said Bill has done a great job and should have the other days.
Selectman Tartufo felt through Bill's efforts he has gotten good cooperation
from the staff.
Selectman Pasquale recommended 5% increase, two personal days and one additional
week of vacation. Discussion followed as to use of another term in place of
the fifth week of vacation.
* MOTION: To give the Town Manager five (5) personal days and three (3) compen-
satory days in recognition of the number of Saturdays, Sundays and
evenings he has had to work.
