Correspondence HealthCare Options May and June 2011 Nursing Report HealthCare Options letter and contract renewal. MOTION: To renew the HealthCare Options Contract Memory/DeGirolamo Passed 4-0. 4. Health Agent's Report 1. Town Hall Air Conditioning Test - At the request of the Town Manager and concurrence with the Board of Health, a test of running the Town Hall air conditioner at 7:00 am to cool the building was held. No complaints were received. The Health Agent will notify the Town Manager of the formal process to change the hours. 2. West Nile Virus and EEE - West Nile Virus and EEE are abundant this season and have not seen beyond testing trapped mosquitoes. 3. Bristol Coalition Emergency Preparedness web page - Website is complete and will shortly go live. 4. iPad GIS app - Scott Leite had hoped to demonstrate the iPad; It is not ready yet. 5. Fluoride concern - Pediatrician expressed concern about the dangers of fluoride in the town water. The statement, "The Town of Mansfield adjusts the fluorine in its water at a consistent rate of one (1) part per million" will appear on the Town of Mansfield's website. MOTION: To add the fluoride statement to the Town's Website. DeGirolamo/Memory Passed 4-0. 6. Flu Clinic - MADPH provided 190 doses of flu vaccine to Mansfield. Doses to be used only for uninsured or underinsured. No flu clinics will be held. 5. Other Business 1. West Bristol Tobacco & Alcohol Prevention Collaborative MOTION: To join the Collaborative Wall/Memory Passed 4-0. 3 2. Tobacco Control- Marilyn Edge MOTION: To appoint Marilyn Edge as an unpaid Health Agent for Tobacco Control issues for the period of Memorandum of Agreement ending June 30, 2014. DeGirolamo/Wail Passed 4-0. 6. Adjournment MOTION: To Adjourn Wail/DeGirolamo Passed 4-0. Cler.
