November 18, 2013
The Zoning Board of Appeals held its regular meeting in the Town Hall, Mansfield, MA at 7:30 pm. Present at the hearing
were the following members: Kevin Mackie, Chairman; Elisabeth Garber - Miller, Clerk; David Luca; Associate Member
Darlene Pruitt.
1. Meeting opened at 7:30 pm.
2. Correspondence:
Minutes — October 1, 2013.
Ms. Garber - Miller made a motion to table the minutes of October 1, 2013. Mr. Luca seconded the motion. Motion
passed 4 -0 -0.

Dennis Tague, 2 Short Street
The application is for a Variance from Section 3.8.1 of the Zoning By -law to allow a detached accessory building (an
existing in- ground swimming pool) to be less than 10 (ten) feet from the principal building at 2 Short Street (Assessor's
Map 34, Parcel 357) in the Residential 1 (111) Zone.
The following documents were submitted: Application for a Variance, filed with the Town Clerk's Office on October 16,
2013; a copy of the public hearing notice; "Certified Plot Plan of Land in Mansfield, MA ", dated. September 10, 2013, RIM
Engineering Co., Inc., and stamped by Craig E. Cygawnoski.
Mr. Mackie appointed Associate Member Darlene Pruitt a voting member for this hearing.
Mr. Mackie explained that four (4) positive votes would be needed to grant a Variance and with only four members
present, he suggested that Mr. Tague request a continuance of the hearing.
The hearing was opened and continued to December 3, 2013.

Mr. Luca made a motion to adjourn at 7:35 pm. Ms. Pruitt seconded the motion. Passed.
Next meeting will be December 3, 2013 at 7:30 pm.
