Welcome &Administration: 7:30-7:45
3. Review& approve minutes from previous meeting-approved
Litter Prevention and Cleanup 7:45-8:15
4. 2013 GMC
a. Publicity (Neil)—this has started-Neil is going to do a commercial and TV show.
Fundraising letters have also gone out.
b. Community group outreach (Pat)- Pat is going to start this.
c. Banner(Nancy) Nancy has this under control
d. Tee-shirts (Brian)-Brian is going to pick a local vendor and likely we will change
the color(maybe orange)
Beautification &Community Greening: 8:15-9:15
11. Logan Marks senior project(Logan)—He is looking to do plantings around 3 spots in
town (under signs at Jordan Jackson and Qualters and then area near Barrows
Insurance. He is planning on planting during 3`d week in April (April vacation week) and
needs to raise about$2000 for the project. He has already collected $315+. He
requested a donation from KMB if he need help. We plan on discussing further and
donating pending a follow up communication with him once he knows how much more
he will have collected (closer to mid/late March)
12. Route 106 embankment(Neil)-Neil met with Doug Annino on 2/26/13-plan would
include some trees and groundcover
13. Downtown updates (Neil)—Neil went to a few meetings. There are discussions around
signage downtown, the 106 embankment, other development updates.
14. Trash Can Be Beautiful (Patricia)
a. Update on status of existing barrels 24 are around—6'of them are out around
town But we have about 10 unaccounted for.
b. How do get them deployed in the spring?
c. Adding more barrels?
15.Adopt a Spot(Pat)—no update here—Pat is absent
16. Mural Update (Nancy)-donations keep coming in
17.Community Garden (Neil)

18. Treasurer's report(Mike)
a. 2013 fundraising update—We have already received about$2100 so far. Many
so far are new donors. So total we have about$9500+in account—GACUM will
cost roughly$2600.
b. Status of account at Mansfield Bank and PayPal. Mike and Nancy set up the
accounts at Mansfield Bank. Mike will,look into the PayPal account.
c. Lowe's Grant deadline March 14-Neil submitting for the 106 Embankment
d. Non profit gift club—Pat submitted for a library sign.
19. Communications & PR(Neil)
a. Rotary Club meeting, March 26, 11:30 a.m. — 1:00 p.m. - Neil going to attend
meeting
b. Invensys wants to participate in GACUM—the Friday before the clean-up—April
26
c. Someone in North Attleboro got a hold of Nancy about doing a North Attleboro
clean-up - Neil and Nancy met with her on 2/27/13
d. MHS Green Day, March 28, 8:30-11:00 a.m -
e. Social media update (Brian)—172 Twitter and 199 Facebook likes-Town of
Mansfield is now on Twitter—KAB has a clean-up twitter account that you can
send info in to.
f. Thank you notes?
20. Open issues; new ideas?
a. We had a leaf blower and a weed wacker donated from Troy Bilt from KAB
