6/16/01. Two test holes were inspected and there were no changes to the wetland flagging. There is
some debris and fallen trees that need to be cleaned up and this can be addressed in an Order. No other
issues for the Commission. Some of the neighbors [D. Shepard, 82 Stearns and J. Crane~ 73 Stearns] are
r concerned with impacts to their property when this lot is developed. P. Boyden said he had spoken with
F. Faria, 59 Stearns about this. S. Buck raised point that a puddle from street run-ofIforms right in front
ofthe lot in question. It was generally discussed to send a letter to DPW asking them to look into this
area. Discussion on placing a permanent restriction on any work within 200 feet ofthe brook. J. Crane

5. Notice of Intent hearing - Reservoir Place LLC, file # SE 211-638
Re: construction of housing drainage and roadway
This is the re-opening and continuation of project that was first heard last winter. Present is Tom
Houston and Chelsea Hanbridge from Edwards and Kelsey, and Gerard Savard from Abbott Associates.
The Commission held a site walk on 6/16/01 where issues ofthe re-Iocation ofthe drainage basin, the
setback of certain structures~ snow removal, and the proposed work to take place with the 50-foot no
disturb zone were discussed. Mr. Houston felt that the re-sizing and re-Iocation of the basin would be a
good thing as it reduces the amount of overall disturbance to the site. These issues will be reviewed
with the Conservation Commission in Norton. Mr. Houston reviewed the original proposal and the new
r design that takes into account the 200-foot Riverfront zone. With a few exceptions, the new proposal
respects the 50-foot no disturb area. Question raised on the Compensatory Flood area and whether it is
1
r-
the entire Reservoir an insignificant amount. Disturbed areas adjacent to the reservoir will be re-shaped
and stabilized with some combination of mulch and seeding. No Sah will be used on the roadway.
Maintenance plan in place for the site including drainage system. Comment letter from Jennifer Carlino,
Norton Conservation Agent, was reviewed. In the wetland enhancement planting area, the overall size
of the existing isolated area [3300 sq. ft] will be increased. Outstanding issues are location and size of
basin and flood storage question. Motion [Hanlon/Smith] to continue the hearing until 7/23/01 at 8:15
p.m. All in favor.

within 200-feet of the river and within 100 feet of wetland areas, with some work within wetlands
