ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
NOVEMBER 13,2001
The Zoning Board of Appeals held its regular meeting in the Town Hall, Mansfield, MA,
at 7:30 P.M. Present at the hearing were the following members: Jack Vultaggio,
Chairman; Olivier Kozlowski, Clerk; Richard Devine; Eric Butler; Scott Austin;
Elisabeth Garber-Miller, Associate Member; and Peter DeTrolio, Associate Member.
The hearing on the application of Jackson Village Housing Development Partnership for
a Comprehensive Permit under the provisions ofM.G.L. Chapter 40B for a 20-Unit
Housing Complex, with five separate building!; proposed, which will have an affordable
housing component, said development to be located off of Kingman and Charles Streets,
Assessor's Map 22, Parcels 164 and 227, in the R-2 Zone was scheduled for 7:30 P.M.

Attorney John T. Mahoney, introduced Mr. and Mrs. Baker as his clients. Mr. Mahoney
stated that before the hearing begins, he would like to explain that he and his clients have
met with their accountants and they would like to donate the land to the Natural Resource
Trust e'NRT'). This transaction will have to occur before December 31 st, so between
now and December 31 st they will meet again with the NRT and a deed would have to be
drawn up. Since this alternative to the land is in this process; the applicant's would like
to continue this hearing until January 8, 2002. If the land is accepted by the NRT they
don't have to come back to the ZBA
A few abutters asked the Board who on the NRT they could speak to, and they were
instructed to talk to Leonard Flynn.
A motion was made by Mr. Devine and seconded by Mr. Butler to accept this
continuance until January 8,2002, ifnecessary. Unanimously accepted.
A motion was made by Mr. Butler and seconded by Mr. Devine to accept the Minutes of
September 4, 2001. Unanimously approved.
A motion was made by Mr. Butler and seconded by Mr. Devine to accept the Minutes of
October 16,2001. Unanimously approved.
