Meeting: opened meeting at 7:30 p.m.
Topics of Discussion:
1) FY'13 Town Managers proposed budget: Police and Dispatchers
2) FY'13 FINCOM model
3) Budget open issues
Police Chief presented the budgets for the two areas.
Open issues:
1-Police Department:
• Police requesting two additional officers;
• Field Training for$15K under account 511006;
• Unscheduled overtime up 81%; future years?
• Under Carrier Incentive: details on the additional$20K;
• Review request under Repairs and Maintenance Equipment;
• Police Vehicles request: review amount;
2-Dispatchers:
• Field Training for$15K under account 511006;
• Employee Benefits to be adjusted down;
John Stanbrook provided updates to FY'13.As of today we have frozen the Budgets: any further
changes,will be communicated by John,on exception basis.

Other Issues:
• Unfunded Liability budget numbers to be provided by Tom and Jack;
• Need a central database with all town employees with the details in order to be able to
audit/control where 80% of budgets are allocated. (Jack to Audit Comm.)
3-Open Issues:
• Memo from Lou Andrews reference Conservation Agent;
• Parking Enterprise FINCOM Article; awaiting TM detail information;
• Set up meeting with Schools;
