BOARD OFASSESSORS MINUTES

At 1: 05 pm., Clerk Dana St. James opened the Town of Mansfield, MA Board of Assessors
("BOA") meeting held in the Assessors Meeting Room on the second floor of the Town of
Mansfield Town Hall.
2. A roll call revealed that the following Board Members and guests were in attendance:
a) Greg Matoian, Chair,
b) Dana J. St. James, Clerk,
c) Vijay Popat, Member,
d) Attorney James F. Sullivan, Counsel to the BOA, and
e) Ann MacCarthy, Chief Assessor (non -voting).
3. The BOA reviewed and approved the weekly motor vehicle abatements by unanimous vote.
4. The BOA reviewed and approved April 8, 2026, BOA meeting minutes by majority vote.
5. The Chair ascertained that there was no Old Business.
6. The Chair ascertained that there was no New Business.
7. The Chair ascertained that there was no Business not anticipated by the Chair 48 hours prior to
this meeting
8. At 1:12 p.m., the Clerk moved the BOA go into the Executive Session called under G.L.c. 30A
s21 (a) (7) to comply with G.L.c. 59 Section 60, to:
a) Review and discuss new updates from Attorney James Sullivan regarding ATB case
negotiations and
b) Any items not anticipated by the Chair 48 hours prior to this meeting.
9. At 2:00 p.m. the Chair closed the Executive Session by a unanimous BOA roll call vote to do so
and the BOA resumed the open meeting.
10. The BOA agreed that our next BOA meeting will be held on Wednesday June 10, 2026, at 11
a.m.
11. The Chair moved that the BOA adjourn the meeting, the motion passed by unanimous vote, and
the meeting adjourned at 2:04 p.m.
