The Animal Welfare Committee meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. at Mansfield Airport.
Approve Minutes
Motion: To approve the minutes from March 19th, 2025. Passes.
Discussion Topics
• Carol provided updated guidelines for a volunteer dress code, dog walking instructions,
and shelter procedures. She asked the committee to review the information and provide
feedback before the next meeting.
• Jada will design and laminate signs to post around the shelter to indicate animals on
Hold, Not for Adoption, etc.
• Carol will contact the Tuesday evening shift captains to ask if they would be willing to
have the shelter open to the public on Tuesdays, at the same hours as other evening
shifts.
• The dog Heidi is available for adoption. Jada will provide a web description.
• Sharon reported that three cats will be coming to the shelter: a bonded pair who must
be adopted together, and a black male. All will be up to date with vaccinations, and
spayed or neutered.
