February Library Board of Trustees Meeting
Minutes for the Library Board of Trustees Meeting on February 11, 2026
In attendance: Jean Mallon (Chair), Kate Pope, Jackie Curtis, Charlie Cullman, Leonard Epstein, and Catherine Coyne (Library Director). The meeting was called
to order at 5:38 PM.
Secretary's report: The meeting notes from the January meeting were reviewed. A motion was made to approve the notes by Jean and seconded by Jackie. The
motion passed unanimously.
Treasurer's Report: The treasurer's report through January was reviewed. A motion to approve the notes was made by and Kate seconded by Jackie. The motion
passed unanimously.
Librarian's Report: The librarian's reports were reviewed.
Correspondence: None
Old Business
FY26 Action Plan Update: Catherine gave the board an update about the progress with the action plan.
New Business:
FY 27 Holiday Closures: In addition to being closed on the legal holidays, the following schedule adjustments will be made on days surrounding various holidays
through the end of the calendar year:
Friday, July 3rd and Saturday July 4: Closed
Saturday before Labor Day: Closed.
Day before Thanksgiving: Early closure at 4:00 pm.
Christmas Eve: Early close at 12:00 Noon.
New Year's Eve: Early close at 3:00 pm
Not Anticipated:
Catherine met with the town accountant to discuss the library's budget. She will be attending the town meeting on February 19.
The next meeting will be held on March 11 at 5:30PM.
Adjournment: A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by Charlie at 6:53 and seconded by Jackie. The motion passed unanimously.
