January Library Board of Trustees Meeting
Minutes for the Library Board of Trustees Meeting on January 14, 2026
In attendance: Jean Mallon (Chair), Kate Pope, Jackie Curtis, Charlie Cullinan and Leonard Epstein and Catherine Coyne (Library Director). The meeting was
called to order at 5:36 PM.
Secretary's report: The meeting notes from the December meeting were reviewed. A motion was made to approve the notes by Jackie and seconded by Charlie.
The motion passed unanimously.
Treasurer's Report: The treasurer's report through December was reviewed. A motion to approve the notes was made by Kate and seconded by Leonard. The
motion passed unanimously.
Librarian's Report: The librarian's reports were reviewed.
Correspondence: The correspondence was reviewed.
Old Business
FY27 Budget Update: Catherine and other department heads met with the acting city manager for an update on the town budget.
New Business:
Annual Board Organization: The board unanimously voted the following positions: Jean as Chair, Charlie as Treasurer, and Kate as Secretary.
Staff Update: Catherine gave the board an update about the staff.
The next meeting will be held on February 11 at 5:30PM.
Adjournment: A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by at 6:25 Jackie and seconded by Kate. The motion passed unanimously.
