March 16, 2026
Present: Sara Walsh, Jenn Walsh, Lynn Cavicchi and Michael Feck were present at Town Hall in Meeting
Room 2 A/B. Also present was Dr. Michelle McKeon, Superintendent. IJ
Not Present: Jack Cooney and Walter Wilk
1. Call to order
Ms. Sara Walsh called the meeting to order at 6:09PM. i
2. Discussion and Consideration to Approve the December 18, 2025 meeting minutes
Motion: To approve the December 18, 2025 meeting minutes. (Feck/J. Walsh) Passes 4:0
3. Discussion of Spring Calendar of Events
Ms. Sara Walsh provided copies of monthly calendars with important dates of meetings plugged in which
also incorporated a series of dates/times that could work for the public outreach meetings. The Committee
agreed at a target of four or five total meetings. Ms. Cavicchi noted that the School Committee Budget
Public Hearing was not until Tuesday March 24th so the sessions would have to occur after that. Ms. Sarah
Walsh noted that the Finance Committee voted to recommend that the Select Board opt to do an override
instead of a debt exclusion, The following dates and times were selected:
➢ April 11th 1PM—Town Hall
➢ April 13th 7PM —Town Hall
➢ April 28th Time TBD — COA
➢ April 30th 7PM —Town Hall
➢ May 2"d1PM—Town Hall
Dr. McKeon asked what the format was at the sessions last year and Ms. Sara Walsh responded that it was a
fairly short presentation followed by residents asking questions. Mr. Feck stated that it would be important
this year that the presentation include what is being done long term.
4. Town and Schools Needs Assessment Ad Hoc Committee
Ms. Sara Walsh stated that this item was to ask the Select Board to reinstate the Town and School Needs
Assessment Committee. She explained that there needs to be long-term planning for what the Town and
Schools are going to need in the future.
