Discussed use of form and that the Director of Finance and Operations will be the point person if principals have questions. Add the word MA in front of 'Department of Fire Services'. Policy changes ready to go to next meeting. • 1LC Student Health Services: Still awaiting response from MHTL on the last sentence. Otherwise ready to move forward. • JLCC Communicable Diseases: Policy ready to move forward but need to workout procedures for students / staff who need to be out of the building. • KCD Gifts and Solicitations: Reviewed changes that were made back in 2023 but were placed on hold. Made slight adjustments and policy is ready to move forward. Policy Preparation: • Advertising: Need a policy, Fee structure (possible Tiers) and internal procedures such as where to keep money, how to be accountable, how to decide who is allowed to advertise. Possibly North Attleboro and Framingham have samples to choose from. Jen Sellon will start to pull this together for further discussion at an upcoming meeting. Ads should align with our core values and be age appropriate. • Flags: Discussed in the past but should be looked at before an issue arises. Next Meeting agenda: • Bullying and Teen Violence: Last reviewed when changes made in Feb 2025. Michelle will bring to principals and see if they see any concerns. Otherwise will do a full review with MHTL in Feb 2027. • Handbook related policies: Do any need to be looked at prior to handbooks? Should look at academic integrity, Aland dress code. For dress code, send to MHTL for input. Lynn is looking for something that is not too prescriptive but the word appropriate is too vague. Discussed the possibility of combining handbooks into one but not sure the timeline.
