Meeting Minutes December 18, 2025
Present: Ms. Sara Walsh, Chair; Mr. Scott Feely, Vice -Chair; Ms. Greta Loukos; Mr. Jack Cooney; Ms. Melinda
Tarsi-Goldfien and Mr. Ryan Martin were present in meeting room 3 A/B.
Not Present: Mr. Michael Flaherty
1. Open Meeting
Ms. Walsh called the Finance Committee meeting to order at 6:05PM.
2. Finance Committee to Attend the Tri-Board Meeting
The members of the Finance Committee participated in the discussion at the Tri-Board meeting. The
Committee members asked questions about the FY27 budget including a portion of the insurance costs.
They discussed the strategy regarding the FY27 budget vote, as well as how to direct departments to
attempt to make budget cuts. Town and Schools will be working to get a balanced budget and a $3M
override budget prepared. The Committee also discussed the timeline for 2026 and set meeting dates and
the revised updated financial policies are now complete and signed. Lastly, the committee discussed the
survey and the lack of responses and the various boards will look into how to push the link out to more
residents.
