The Animal Welfare Committee meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. at Mansfield Airport.
Approve Minutes
Motion: To approve the minutes from September 18th, 2025. Passes.
Opal needs to have a vet visit scheduled for vaccinations.
Cats
• A new cat, Angus, was brought to the shelter today by Francesca, after the house he was
living in was condemned. The owner might reclaim Angus.
• Kato is hyperthyroid and will be taking oral methimizole: once a day for the first week,
and twice daily after that.
Stephanie Putnam will bring post surgical cat suits to the shelter for future spays.
Shelter Maintenance
• D.P.W. cleaned the clogged drain in the dog quarantine kennel, and the drain is now
working.
• Stephanie Putnam will clean up the Pet Memorial Garden prior to the pumpkin event
on Friday.
