250 Anniversary
Update:
Committee —
250 anniversary buttons are out for the public.

The next meeting is on 5/14.
The search is underway for a venue for the main
kickoff celebration.
Other event options were discussed and proposed
for consideration including holding a pickle ball
tournament, speaker series, etc.
New Business
Grantee Reception —
Update:

Details arranged to date include:
• Date: June 12, Wednesday @ 6:00 — 7:45pm
• Location: Mansfield Public Library Community
Room has been booked.
• John's Ice Cream Dream cart will be confirmed
by May 15
• Grantees have been solicited for attendance by
Adrianna in the initial mailing and through Mail
Chimp tool.
• The project plan details were reviewed in the
meeting and confirmed assignments.
Family Fun Night
Marc will run our ideas for quilt and fabric squares
with the town. It was discussed that the squares
could be sold to raise money for the 2501h
anniversary celebration. We will make final plans in
our June meeting.
Additional Items for Discussion (not anticipated by Chair 48 hours prior to meeting)
Additional Items
Eileen C stated she would like to see more traffic
lights boxes and suggests we think of ideas on how
to promote additional boxes.
Ideas for promotion included making challenges to
other town councils or departments i.e, challenge
Police dept. vs. Fire Department; solicit Elks, Rotary
Club; churches and schools, etc.
