No vote needed Treasurer's Report — $5200 unclaimed reimbursements from 2023, all Moved to approve: EV Marc C. requests must be in by January 30th Seconded: AC Awaiting reimbursements requests from: Sandy Churchill Fuller Craft Rhonda Faizo Uncommon Theatre Live Arts Special Needs Advocacy Group 2024 Grant awards need to be adjusted; towns contribution was added in twice. Marc provided us with an updated spreadsheet. Numbers were adjusted. Elvire moved to accept new #'s. Eileen will update the letters. Discussion Who would we have funded or not funded based on the new numbers. Jim Stanislous Roil call completed and approved In Attendance after Vote: Not in Attendance: Alma Richeh Guests In Attendance: n/a Secretary's Report — Approval of February 2024 and March, 2024 Moved to approve the Mary P-B minutes were approved. minutes and or changes: Feb. minutes — Marc C moved to approve; Seconded by Adrianna C March minutes — Kelly K moved to approve; Seconded by Adrianna C Treasurer's Report— Update: Moved to approve: Eileen Marc C. No requests for re-imbursements for March. C We paid for the wrapping of our traffic box from our Seconded: Jim S gift account. Still waiting for our state disbursement funds. This is the latest we've received state funds. The delay is due to a new process implemented at the state level We are not receiving any funds from the town of Mansfield for 2p25. See Treasurer's Report at end of this document. Ongoing Business Membership — Update: all Jim was sworn in the week of March 4". Another person inquired about membership to MLCC. Mansfield Local Cultural Council 6 Park Row Mansfield, MA 02048 April 1, 2024 Traffic Box Update: Discussion n/a Grant and Event Update: Tracking — Kelly K & 4 events are coming up in April. Alma and Kelly will Eileen C post on social media. For Mary Jo's performance it was decided that the library will give her $200 towards the show but she is still short. The library does not want a zoom performance. Marc C will ask state if she can request a hardship payment to fill gap. MLCC will not give her application consideration next year due to distance. Sara Jane has not responded to follow-up calls from MLCC. Fundraising — Update: Alma R. & Marc C. Given no town funds this year, it was discussed to reopen consideration for fundraising going forward. It was announced that the Fall Festival has been cancelled due to the town is not funding the event. Grantee Reception & It was decided that MLCC will participate in the Family Fun Night Family Fun Night this year. Art options were discussed i.e., creating a quilt for the town by having the public paint on fabric squares that could be turned into a sewn quilt/blanket. Next month more details will be discussed on how to monetize this option by either a raffle or selling the fabric squares. For the Grantee Reception it was decided an inside venue is preferred. Mary P-Bwill finalize options and will reserve with the town. Mary P-B will also place John's Dream Ice Cream stand on standby for the event. Other Mansfield Board & Committee Updates Downtown Committee Update: Traffic Box public art The cost of the mural restoration was discussed — project — estimated at $5k- $15k at a minimum to fix. Eileen C. 250 Anniversary Update: Committee — Elvire S dispersed pins to members of MLCC.
