Chairman Aptowitz called the executive session to order at 6:02PM. i !;_A r ,; Ir, L D
To enter into Executive Session and Not Return to Open Session under Exemption �o. 3, . .L. Chapter
30A, Section 21, to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting
may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the public body and the chair so
declares.
Mr. Peter Berry updated the Board on recreational marijuana regulations and the state law and how to
interpret the law based on the written request received from CommCan, Inc. The Board asked some questions
of Mr. Berry and advised him and Mr. Dumas to write a letter to CommCan on their behalf.
Motion: To have Town Counsel and Mr. Kevin Dumas draft a letter to CommCan stating that the Board does
not agree with the interpretation of the law with their right to convert to medical license to recreational.
