Ms. Doherty called the executive session to order at 8:1513M.
Enter into Executive Session and Not Return to Open Session for the following reasons:
• Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30A, Section 21, Exemption 3, to discuss strategy with
respect to collective bargaining for negotiations with United Steelworkers — Supervisory
Local 1917 Unit 3 collective bargaining union if an open meeting may have a detrimental
effect on the bargaining position of the public body and the chair so declares.
• Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30A, Section 21, Exemption 3, to discuss strategy with
respect to collective bargaining for negotiations with United Steelworkers AFL-CIO-CLC,
Local Union 9517-02 — Non -Supervisory collective bargaining union if an open meeting
may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining position of the public body and the
chair so declares.
• Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30A, Section 21, Exemption 3, to discuss strategy with
respect to collective bargaining for negotiations with Firefighters Local 1820,
International Association of Firefighters collective bargaining union if an open meeting
may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining position of the public body and the
chair so declares.
Mr. Dumas provided an update on the three union negotiations that were settled prior to the close of
the fiscal year. There were a few questions made by Select Board members.
