BOARD OFASSESSORS MINUTES25 AUG I U A "� 21
Wednesday, July16, 2025, Meeting
1. At 7:11 p.m., Chairperson Greg Matoian ("Chair") opened the Town of Mansfield, MA Board of Assessors
("BOA") meeting held in the Assessors Meeting Room on the second floor of the Town of Mansfield Town
Hall.
2. A roll call revealed that the following Board Members were in attendance:
a) Greg Matoian, Chair,
b) Andrew Bank, Member,
c) Dana J. St. James, Clerk, and
d) Ann MacCarthy, Chief Assessor (non -voting).
3. The BOA reviewed and approved the weekly motor vehicle abatements by unanimous vote.
4. The BOA reviewed and approved the BOA meeting minutes from the meeting of May 21, 2025 by
unanimous vote.
5. The BOA reviewed and approved the Motor Vehicle Commitment 3 for 2025 and Commitment 8 for 2024
by unanimous vote.
6. The Chair ascertained that there was no Old Business.
7. The Chair concluded that the only New Business item would be discussed in Executive Session.
8. The Chair ascertained that there were no items not anticipated by the Chair 48 hours prior to this meeting.
9. Andrew Bank moved the BOA go into the Executive Session called under G.L.c. 30A s21 (a) (7) to comply
with G.L.c. 59 Section 60, to:
a) Discuss ATB cases;
b) Review the May 21, 2025 Executive Session minutes;
c) Review theist Exemption Spreadsheet for FY 2026 ; and
d) Discuss the aforementioned New Business consisting of correspondence received from a
residential properly owner
The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote, and the Executive Session commenced at 7:22 p.m.
10. At 8:21 p.m. the Chair closed the Executive Session by a unanimous BOA roll call vote to do so and the
BOA resumed the open meeting.
11. The BOA reviewed during Executive Session and approved by unanimous vote in the open meeting those
on the V Exemption Spreadsheet for FY 2026 who applied for and qualified for the following statutory
exemptions: Sections 17D, 22, 22D, 22E, 37A, & 41 C.
12, The BOA agreed that our next BOA meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 7 pm.
