1. At 6.45 p.m., Chairperson Greg Matoian ("Chair") opened the Town of Mansfield, MA Board of Assessors
("BOA") meeting held in the Assessors Meeting Room on the second floor of the Town of Mansfield Town
Hall.
2. A roll call revealed that the following Board Members were in attendance:
a) Greg Matoian, Chair,
b) Andrew Bank, Member,
c) Dana J. St. James, Clerk, and
d) Ann MacCarthy, Chief Assessor (non -voting).
3. The BOA reviewed and approved the weekly motor vehicle abatements by unanimous vote.
4. The BOA reviewed and approved the BOA meeting minutes fi•om the meeting of April 9, 2025, by
unanimous vote.
5. The BOA reviewed and approved the Motor Vehicle Commitment 2 for 2025 by unanimous vote.
6. The BOA reviewed and approved the Fiscal Year 2026 Preliminary Real Estate Tax Commitment by
unanimous vote.
7. The BOA reviewed and approved the Fiscal Year 2026 Preliminary Personal Property Tax Commitment by
unanimous vote.
8. The BOA reviewed and approved by unanimous vote the Letter of Authorization to the Bureau of Local
Assessment, Division of Local Services to authorize Ann MacCarthy, Chief Assessor, to electronically sign
documents on behalf of the Board of Assessors for Fiscal Year 2026.
9. The Chair concluded that the only Old Business item would be discussed in Executive Session.
10. The Chair ascertained that there was no New Business.
11, The Chair ascertained that there were no items not anticipated by the Chair 48 hours prior to this meeting.
12. Andrew Bank moved that the BOA go into the Executive Session called under G.L.c. 30A s21 (a) (7) to
comply with G.L.c. 59 Section 60, to review the previous Executive Session minutes, to discuss ATB cases
and to discuss the aforementioned Old Business. The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote, and the
Executive Session commenced at 7:25 p.m.
13. At 7:40 p.m. the Chair closed the Executive Session by a unanimous BOA roll call vote to do so and the
BOA resumed the public meeting.
14. The BOA agreed that our next BOA meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 7 pm.
