Attendance: Jean Mallon (Chair), Debbie Gordy, Kate Pope, Charlie Cullinan. and Catherine
Coyne (Library Director). Absent: Leonard Epstein.
Call to order: The meeting was called to order by the Chairperson, Jean Mallon, at 5:36 p.m.
1. Secretary's Report: The Minutes of the November meeting were reviewed. Charlie made the
motion to accept the November minutes; seconded by Kate and approved unanimously.
2. Treasurer's Report: Treasurer's report was reviewed. Jean made the motion to approve, Kate
seconded, and the report was unanimously approved.
3. Librarian's retort: The librarian's report was presented by Catherine, Library Director.
Notable highlights of November included the family art night
Old Business:
Proposed budget for Fiscal year ended June 30, 2026 The library director has met with the
town's CFO to discuss the budget.
New Business:
Bulletin Board Policy: The policy for posting on the library bulletin board was discussed and
minor revisions were made to provide clear guidance about what items are appropriate. A motion
to adopt the new policy was made by Debbie, seconded by Kate, and passed unanimously.
Special Library closing days in 2025: Due to events related to the town's 250th anniversary
celebration, the road will be closed and/or to use the library parking lot as a staging area on
certain days in 2025. A motion to close the Library to accommodate these events on May 17,
2025 and August 23, 2025 was made by Jean, was seconded by Kate, and passed unanimously.
Debbie Gordy leaving the board: This is the last meeting for Library Trustee Debbie Gordy. She
was thanked for her years of service and will be missed.
Adjournment: A motion to adjourn was made by Charlie, duly seconded by Kate ajW passed
unanimously. The Trustees' meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m. w
