An Open Meeting of the Mansfield School Committee was held in person and virtually on Wednesday,
March 26, 2025 the Public Safety Community Room. The open Tri-Board meeting session called was
called to order by Chair Steve Schoonveld at 6:34 p.m.

Members of the Finance Committee, Select Board, School Committee and Budget Subcommittee
convened to discuss the FY26 Budget.
Kevin Dumas, Town Manager presented the timeline of upcoming public events including information
sessions on the override. Communication plans were discussed to ensure every town citizen is aware.
Chair Schoonveld passed out a letter that was sent to the Sun Chronicle as a follow up to the 3-25-25
School Public Hearing on the Budget.
A FAQ document was reviewed and modifications suggested.
The School Committee was asked to clarify details on the budget numbers and identify what would be
impacted by an override vote.
FY27 budget was discussed including the need to identify potential issues.
