1. Call to Order: The IDC was called to order at 7:04 PM by Chair, Mr. Christopher

2. Acceptance of Minutes from September 12, 2024:

Motion: To adopt the meeting minutes of September 12th, 2024.

3. Discussion of Sign and Facade Program:
Christopher Jackson informed the other members of the IDC that the legislature had approved a $50k
line item for the Program, although modifications to the budget may be made at any time. It is
estimated that the funds will be available in January 2025.
The Penta Group will post the potential availability of the funds to the Town website. Other outreach
efforts to the Downtown Business Association and the TriTown Chamber of Commerce to increase the
number of potential applicants was suggested. It was also suggested that businesses that had expressed
an interest in the program be contacted again. The eligible area will remain the same as last year.
4. Discussion of Discover Mansfield
The IDC had a discussion on the state and progress of the Discover Mansfield program.
5. Discussion of Economic Development Director Position
A discussion was held regarding the open position and its relationship with other economic development
efforts on -going. It was decided that additional information from the Town Manager be sought.
6. Any items not known 48 hours prior:
Discussion was held regarding the need to recruit additional members to the IDC. There are currently 2
vacancies. A quorum for the IDC requires that four (4) members be present.
