Chairman Aptowitz called the executive session to order at 5:35 PM.
Review and possible approval of minutes of August 22, 2022 Executive Session where
Exemption 3 was declared
Discussion:
Motion: To approve the Executive Session Minutes of August 22, 2022 but not to release
(F. Delvecchlo /D. Bren)
Roll Call Vote:
Aptowitz—Yes / Bren—Yes / DelVecchlo—Yes / Rhein -Yes
Pursuant to M.G.L. Ch.164, Section 47D and M.G.L. Ch. 30, Section 21, Exemption 2, to conduct
strategy sessions in preparation for negotiation with nonunion personnel or to conduct
collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with nonunion personnel.
Discussion took place regarding General Manager's salary history and comparable statistics for
other General Managers of municipal Iight plants. No motions were made
Pursuant to M.G.L. Ch. 164, Section 47D and M.G.L. Ch. 30, Section 21, Exemption 3, to discuss
strategy with respect to collective bargaining if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect
on the bargaining position of the public body and the chair so declares.
Discussion took place to update Board members on status of labor negotiations of AFSCME and
(2) IBEW collective bargaining units. No motions were made
Motion: To adjourn the executive session on November 21, 2022 at 6:00 PM. (F. Delvecchlo / D. Bren)
