Chairman Aptowitz called the executive session to order at 5:39 PM.
1. Review and Possible Approval of minutes of Review and possible approval of minutes of July 18, 2022

2. Pursuant to M.G.L. Ch. 164, Section 47D and M.G.L. Ch. 30, Section 21, Exemption 3, to discuss strategy
with respect to collective bargaining if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining
position of the public body and the chair so declares.
Manager Sollecito provided an update on bargaining and updated the Commissioners on the latest bargaining
sessions with the AFSCME (Line workers) and both IBEW groups (Professionals & Financial Assistants). Atty.
Brown & Mr. Sollecito discussed strategies and communications developed for upcoming union negotiations
with the AFSCME union and the IBEW groups. The Light Commissioners asked questions and shared their view
of what the overall goals should be for final settlements. No motions were made.
