Meeting Minutes September 19, 2024
Present: Ms. Sara Walsh, Chair, Mr. Scott Feely, Vice Chair; Ms. Greta Thurston, Clerk; Ms. Melinda Tarsi-
Goldfien, Mr. Jack Cooney, and Mr. Ryan Martin were present in meeting room 3 A/B at Town Hall.
Not Present: Mr. Michael Flaherty
Opening Meeting
1. Open Meeting
Mr. Sara Walsh called the School Committee meeting to order at 5:56PM
2. Committee re/assignment Brief Discussion
The committee discussed appointing Melinda Tarsi-Goldfien and Ryan Martin to the Insurance Group and
having Greta Thurston on CIP instead of Michael Flaherty.
3. Participate in Budget Sub Committee Tri Board discussion
There were no motions made in this discussion. Please see the Budget Subcommittee minutes for detail.
4. Consideration and Motion to Vote on Budget Subcommittee Recommendation
Motion: To approve the vote to approve the recommendation of the budget Subcommittee to develop two
budget scenarios one based on an override and one with a balanced budget.
