Members of the Finance Committee, Select Board, School Committee and Budget Subcommittee'
convened to discuss the FY26 Budget. The town has made progress in budget numbers where each
committee can start to discuss a general direction on moving forward. Specifically, how to present the
budget and whether or not an override will be needed. Several scenarios were presented as ideas to
move forward.
The override was discussed in many forms including a one year or multi -year approach.Also discussed
was the best way to communicate out to residents. A public forum was discussed as a possibility. More
