4. Old Business:
- Sherri Gurnon questioned the Recreation Commissioners on the letter that will be sent to
Mansfield Youth Soccer's board regarding the violations they have made on their Field
Usage permit issued by the Mansfield Parks and Recreation.
Mitch Bregnard expressed that there have been willful violations of their permits recently.
Mr. Bregnard feels because of that, it has caused a violation of trust. He stated that they
have been caught twice, but senses there are probably more that we don't know of.
Chris Delaney-Leard indicated there should be a penalty because they will probably do it
again. She referenced that they were not penalized the first time, after being caught in
violation of their permit, and committed that same violation again. Ms. Leard initially
thought a revoking of the permit for one year was a good penalty, but felt since their fall
permit has been approved already, that the Recreation Commissioners need to rethink the
MYS permit for spring and impose a penalty on their usage of the fields at that time.
Motion: By Ed Westhaver to approve the MYS letter as amended. Seconded by Chris
Delaney-Leard. Motion passes, 5-0.
