Meeting Held in Person in Planning Department Conference Room
Present: Mark Corsillo and James Turnbull, Associate
Sarah Raposa, Director of Planning & Development
• Review revised map of 5+ acre land showing open space
• Request GIS access for PB members
• Review survey question regarding sewer for 55+ developments noting that 80% was
`strongly agree,' not `disagree' as written in the text and presented at the PB meeting last
spring
o Update the zoning bylaw for 55+ to have a waiver provision
• Discuss water/sewer regulations, environmental issues, issues of sprawl, and traffic
impacts of pockets of 40Y developments in the less dense RI areas
• Density of 40Y must beat least 4 units per acre; increase density
• Review of 40Y requirements for starter homes
• Draft bylaw prepared
• Map: existing homes under 1850 sf with a maximum of 3 bedrooms
• Report to PB at 8/28/24 meeting:
o ADU state law (definition, discussions, permitting tiers, etc,)
o 40Y Concept
The meeting adjourned at 9:50am.
