Notice of Resignation
Before taking up the previous meeting's minutes, McDermott asked the Chair if he could make an
announcement that had not been included on the agenda. With Jackson's permission, McDermott
informed the members that he had recently acceptedanother position and would be leaving Mansfield
the following month. He thanked them all for their support and for entrusting him with the launch of the
important new Economic Development Director's role. His new role was slated to begin Monday, July
15', meaning he would be present for their upcoming meeting the following month.

Sign & Fa4ade Program
McDermott updated the members on the status of the three Sign & Fagade Projects they had approved.
He also updated them in regards to his work with the Town's State House Delegation to secure funding
in the FY25 State Budget that would continue the program.
Downtown
McDermott discussed the ongoing efforts to refine the proposed MSROD Parkway's design and advance
the project towards construction.
Discover Mansfield
McDermott updated members on his work with Penta Communications over the past month.
He also informed them that Penta Communications' contract for the past year would come to an end
with the close of the fiscal year later that month. For that reason, he had drafted a request of
qualifications (RFQ) to be circulated prior to the negotiation of new contract for the coming fiscal year
and was awaiting approval to circulate it.
Business Development & Outreach Efforts
Members discussed business development and outreach efforts with McDermott.
