1 Executive Session Minutes for Tuesday, December 13, 2022

Committee opened at 6:07 p.m. and adjourned to executive session under:
Under Exception No.. 3. To discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open
meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the public body and
the chair so declares
On Monday, December 12th the first round of negotiations began. It was the first of two sessions to
discuss proposals. Key proposals concern staff attendance, sick time, FMLA language, parental leave,
leaves of absence, department chair licensure, retirement incentive, MHS guidance counselor schedule,
prep periods and salary. Strategy for next session was discussed.
Lynn Cavicchi called for a motion to leave executive session to return to open meeting.
