Mansfield School Committee Meeting
Executive Session Minutes for Tuesday, August 30, 2022

Committee adjourned from open session upon completion of the 2022 End of Year Evaluation
for Superintendent Teresa Murphy. Under Exception No. 2, To conduct strategy sessions in
preparation for negotiations with nonunion personnel or to conduct collective bargaining
sessions or contract negotiations with nonunion personnel.
The Executive Session meeting began without Teresa Murphy in attendance so that the
committee could discuss her upcoming contract. Various points were considered including the
hard work and time that Teresa devotes to the school; her current salary compared to other
districts; and her leadership as we returned from COVID and work toward an equity audit.
Upon completion of the discussion, Teresa was invited to enter the meeting. The committee'
(� thanked Teresa for her leadership during the past year and explained the reasoning behind
` J their contract thought process.
The calculated increase was determined as follows:
Existing Salary of $197,342
Increase of 3.89% for a new salary of $205,018.00
Superintendent Murphy was very appreciative and asked if it would be possible to add 1 year
to the end of the contract. The committee agreed so this contract will run through June 30,
2026.
