Attendance: Jean Mallon (Chair), Debbie Gordy, Leonard Epstein, Kate Pope, Charlie-C I'p

and Catherine Coyne, Library Director. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson;-Uearr T j c
Mallon at 5:35.
Secretary's Report: The Minutes of the March meeting were reviewed. Leonard made the
motion to accept the April minutes; seconded by Kate and approved unanimously.
Treasurer's Report: Treasurer's report was reviewed. Debbie made the motion to approve,
Leonard seconded and it was unanimously approved.
Librarians' Reports: The librarians reports were reviewed.
Jean mentioned the work done by Melissa Bennett on YouTube which has been shared with the
schools. It was noted that The number of children's programs and robust attendance was very
impressive.
Area library directors, including Catherine, were interviewed regarding the expense of ebooks to
libraries. Catherine explained that many ebook purchases only last for one year.
Concern expressed over the amount of work involved in the seed garden. It was determined
that expert guidance is needed.
Correspondence: None
Old Business
Action Plan: Updates have been made to include newest information and status. Additional
suggestions regarding updating were made.
No changes to the library budget at this time. Town is looking at ways to balance the budget.
New Business :
New internet policy reviewed. Motion made to accept made by Kate, seconded by Debbie and
unanimously approved.
Evaluation forms for Catherine were handed out to trustees by Jean. They should be given to
Jean at the May meeting. Catherine is working on her self -evaluation.
Adjournment: A motion was made by Charlie to adjourn the meeting at 7:06 p.m.; seconded by
Kate - Motion to adjourn was unanimous.
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8th at 5:30 p.m.
