Approval of minutes
Steve moved to accept 3-9-23 minutes. Jenn seconded. Unanimous
Steve moved to accept 2-27-24 minutes with a correction (change the words "we will" to "we
would like to". Jenn seconded. Unanimous
Discussion of proposed fee increases for CHAMPS
Scott Sanchez spoke about the CHAMPS childcare program. His wishes to bring additional
quality and support with additional talented, experienced and educated staff with a subject
passion. The current management and student numbers were reviewed. A fee schedule was
proposed. Discussion to continue with Assistant Superintendent Donoghue.
Quality of afterschool enrichment programs received accolade. Costs were briefly discussed;
will need to be reviewed next year.
Adult Ed program briefly discussed. Additional programs to be added in the future.
Mansfield Summer Institute fees reviewed. Proposed to delete the current tiered schedule and
move to one fee. The mid fee was discussed. Program costs discussed as well as inflationary
cost of supplies for each camp. There are approx. 26 camps (3 hours for 4 days a week) for 5
weeks through the summer. Review of the program profit/loss history. Top tier would
generate approx. $2,000 per week. Move to full committee to meet the April printing deadline.
Discussion of FY25
The Superintendent reviewed the budget reductions. 10.6 positions will be impacted. There
will be reductions as well as utilization of retirement attrition.

Distributed draft of revolving fund packet for review. Subcommittee members to send revision
suggestions.
