Sign & Fayade Program''
160 North Main Street
McDermott shared an application to improve 160 North Main Street that had been submitted by that
property's owner, Louis Guarino. The proposal entailed sandblasting peeling paint from the building's
exterior, repainting it, and replacing the awning that was presently there. This new awning would retain
the logo of the site's primary business, Trattoria Della Nona. Reviewing the bids for the work to be done,
McDermott noted the total cost of the project could amount to as much as'$10,005 but the program
would only allow for grants of up to $10,000.
McDermott went on to explain that all necessary permits had been secured and that the property owner
was current on all taxes and fees. With that, he asked the Chair if he'd be willing to entertain a motion
to approve this project.
Motion: To fund the proposal to replace the external paint and awning at 160 North Main Street
with a grant of up to $10,000. -

Other Proposals
McDermott informed the members that he had been in contact with two other property owners and
that he hoped to bring their proposals forward in the near future.
Downtown
McDermott updated the IDC regarding design of the MSROD's proposed Parkway. He explained that he
and the Town's TOD Working Team- which included the Town Manager, Planning Director, DPW
