Currently full years in grade 7 & 8. Review of current staff and licensing, one year VISA and use of Edgenuity Discussion of maintaining high quality instruction. Discussion on student tracking through high school to AP level. Move all foreign language instruction to grade 8 with mature students will still allow tracking through to level 5 Dept head acknowledges the quality of instruction. Reduction in services but alternative course of Literacy is beneficial to many at this time. Review of FY24 Budget Updates Review Tri-Board presentation and meeting Review of one-time purchases in FY24 budget Discussion of FTE reduction and bumping. RIF due to enrollment for efficiency. Review of potential Fee changes for FY24 Proposed increase Use of Facilities to include new custodial overtime and double time rates Proposed increase in transportation fees by $50 with increase in family cap Upcoming meetings — Town wide budget — Feb 16th Meeting Adjourned at 6:25 pm
