Approve Minutes
Motion: To approve the minutes from September 21, 2023. Passes.
Miscellaneous
• The Saturday and Sunday morning shifts will monitor supplies of _litter and pet food, and
write on a magnetic white board outside Francesca's office when supplies need restocking.
• In an effort to get comprehensive update info from each shift, Mary will email a format for
shift captains to follow in the daily email updates. A copy of the format will be posted by
the sign -in log, to remind shift captains.
In-house fecal exams for incoming animals are postponed until January because shifts have
been so busy on weekends, especially with kitten adoptions.
A.C.O .
• Francesca reported on a cruelty case involving a Foxboro Boston Terrier. She asked if
M.S.F. would be able to pay for the dog's follow-up vet appointment. Sharon spoke for
M.S.F. and replied that M.S.F. would cover the expense. The dog is currently in a foster to
adopt home.
• Volunteers not following established safety and animal care procedures has become a cause
for concern. Francesca will respond via email to shift captains, in an effort to remind shift
captains to adhere to procedures and ensure that their volunteers are also aware and follow
procedures.
