Council should review smart simple. Publicist — handout for the annual report — KK New Business Grant award letter Eileen shared new award letter with council. Letter update — now includes grantee reception date and included Eileen C. our new logo and new requirements. Eileen sent a follow-up letter to all grantees with new logo, grantee request form, W9, and sent the page from the website on what they're supposed to be doing. All 2018 docs will be shredded this month. New logo design Discussion ensued regarding how we should use Adrianna will get estimates rollout — the logo and what we should place it on. on table covering costs Marc C. & Adrianna C. We decided it should be imaged on: with new logo. 1. Our table coverings — 2 fitted ones preferably for 8ft. tables. Adrianna will also look into 2. Brochures different apparel wear and 3. Grant Tracking & Update: Kelly will advertise Event Tracking — Kelly reached out about when Crafts for Kids at the upcoming events on our Kelly K. Fuller Craft and found they are available Feb. and Facebook page (i.e., Crafts April vacation. Sheri in Parks & Rec connected with For Kids) them. Mansfield kids were not included in the past but Sheri was able to procure Mansfield on the schedule. Kelly is putting together a schedule and will advertise on our Facebook page. A reminder for the council to attend some of the events we advertise and to continue to like and share on social media. Other Mansfield Board Committee Updates Downtown Committee Update: Traffic Box public art Kevin D is talking with a contact in Attleboro (Mim project — Faucet) to discuss wrappers for our low voltage Eileen C. boxes. Mim works with car wrappers and will provide more details Including cost estimates for Mansfield usage. Every box is a different size therefore the DPW will have to measure all boxes. It was discussed to use a few local artists or photographers for images of their artwork for the boxes. It is suggested not to use student artists — Morini gallery may be one source of artists. The artists will not be paid but credit for their work will be displayed on the wrapper along with a QR code to see more information on the artist. We have 12 boxes owned by town. 2 will be done this spring and 10 others next year. It would be a bonus if the artwork tied into history of Mansfield. Planning Board Train Update: Station & surrounds A couple of workshops are scheduled on 2/15 and project — 2/28 to talk about TOD. Proposals for what to do Sharon F. and how to do it will be discussed. A brief discussion ensued to explain what TOD is (planning grant from the MBTA), zoning, and the implications to Mansfield as the town decided to look at it in more depth and affordable housing as well. If a town says "no" you may lose funding for other transportation and infrastructure needs. Additional Items for Discussion (not anticipated by Chair 48 hours priouto meeting) MAC Center is having a gala this year for their 301' Marc C will send email with year on March 3161. more information on the Canoe River meeting after Next Monday at 7pm, the Historical Society will hold the close of today's meeting. a meeting about the Canoe River.
