New Business
Discussion with
WeIlfleet LCC reached out to us and other CC's,
WeIlfleet LCC —
looking for information on how we operate. They
Eileen C. and Adrianna
have a larger board and a smaller budget; and an
equity gap in their population.
The meeting went well and EC & AC thought we
should consider having discussions with other
community councils going forward.
It was stated that as we speak with other cultural
councils, we should inquire on their cultural districts
(if they have one) and how they put it in place in
their community.
During the discussion a comment was made for
MLCC to consider including a donation jar at all of
our events. Having merchandise available for sale
would be a good inclusion (paintbrushes with our
logo was suggested).
AR — initiated a discussion regarding Mansfield's
lack of a community center. Discussion ensued on
ideas for community i.e., amphitheater/stage etc.
New Togo design
AC presented estimates on items for our logo.
Kelly will look into costs of
rollout —
1. Table coverings — Ink prices start at
printing brochures.
Marc C. & Adrianna C.
$200/tablecloth — includes just the logo.
Vintage Graphics is similarly priced.
Marc will look into cost of
2. Tee shirts are priced in bulk — amounts to be
printing our logo on
provided
paintbrushes as another
3. Cost of aprons is TBD
give away item.
MC will price out pens shaped like paintbrush as
well as nylon paintbrushes with our logo and will
report next month.
MC will check price of new brochures.
Brochure enhancement considerations were
discussed: '
1. List organizations starting with Mansfield
organizations
2. Font variations and wordsmith changes
3. Brochure is created with InDesign software.
Marc will send design file in Alma for her
update

project —
A policy was drafted and EC read the policy to the
Eileen C.
council.
We also need to find out what MLCC's role is in this
project. The Cultural Council would like
representation on the art selection committee. EC
will inquire.
Per Glenn from the Morini Art Gallery, they will aim
for artwork from 6 artists and 6 photographers.
Eileen also reached out to Attleboro (Mim Faucet) to
find out what their process was regarding their 30
boxes.
EC has the name of Cool Air Creations (wrapping
company) and will follow-up with them on more
details.
Overall this project is targeted for completion by the
250'h town anniversary celebration.

district able to be moved or shifted; request for
update on the police station and senior center
relocation).
Sharon provided a brief update on TOD/MBTA from
the 2 meetings held in February. Basically,
zoning/bylaw changes will be required and will
include town meeting voting.
Additional Items
for Discussion (not anticipated by Chair 48 hours
prior to meeting)
Sharon F went to Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra
and stated it was a beautiful performance but noted
that their program did not use MLCC's logo.
The Grantee Reception target date is 6/14/23. A
vote taken and council unanimously voted on that
target date. MPB will complete the application and
send to Parks & Recreation this week. All council
members should plan on "all hands-on deck" to
support the reception.
Gail G sent a thank you note to MLCC for
nominating her for the community service award.
