1. Open meeting Called to order by Chair MacDonald at 8$9 XHUSETTS
2. Public comment There were no comments.
3. August Minutes Approval
Motion: To approve the minutes from the October 3"' meeting
Passes: 8-0 (Ms. Murphy, Mr. Cook)
4. Discuss "Welcome to Mansfield" Table Volunteers for 10/25/23
Chair MacDonald volunteered to be at the 250th's information table. The event to
greet new residents is in the meeting room at the Library from 6-8 PM.
Committee members encouraged to attend.
5. Discuss and Consider Logo/Slogan Contest Submissions
Chair MacDonald reported there were 15 different submissions, some hand
drawn and others digital artwork. The Vote by the Committee will be anonymous
using a blind ballot.The Committee viewed a picture presentation of the
submissions.
6. Vote to select Official 250th Logo/Slogan from Contest Submissions
There was a discussion on how to proceed.
Motion: To continue discussion of Agenda items 5-7 at the next meeting.
Passes: 8-0 (Ms. Murphy, Ms Feely)
Submissions will be sent to Committee members
7. ,Discuss and Consider 250th Medallion Fundraiser
Refer to Item 9
8. Discuss and, Consider Funding
Item taken out of order.
Mr. Dumas discussed how to proceed related to finances for the Committee's
planned events. First is to identify the short-term needs, which generally require
fewer dollars and can be supported by the town.

Mr. Dumas briefly discussed work projects involving the airport runway and the
Rt. 106 Phase One work during Fiscal 2025-2026.
10. Discuss and Consider Program and Timeline of Events
Chair MacDonald briefly showed a draft of an ideas timeline.
11. Establish Future Meeting Dates
Next meeting on Monday, Oct. 23 at 6:30 PM Ms. Griffin will seek a location.
Ms. Feely informed the Committee she'll be absent and needs someone to take
the minutes. Chair MacDonald offered.

Chair MacDonald encouraged Committee members to email him if something
should go on the agenda.
