The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm.

Acceptance of Minutes
Review of the minutes from the meeting on April 13, 2023, were deferred to the next meeting as there
was not a sufficient number of that meeting's participants present.
Downtown
A. BETA Group, Inc. & TOD
McDermott updated members regarding the Planning Board's progress on this project and
reminded them that it would be taken up at Town Meeting June 151n
B. Downtown Grants and Business Assistance
McDermott informed members that Sen. Feeney had committed to including a $50,000
allocation supporting this project in the Senate's draft of the FY24 State Budget, matching an
allocation in the House draft. McDermott and the members also reviewed and discussed
adjustments to the program's application form.
Discover Mansfield
McDermott informed members that updates to Choose Mansfield.com were ongoing and that Penta
Communications was reviewing the Town's social media strategy.
IDC Membership
McDermott discussed the industries represented by current members and what other industries they
might want to recruit from.
Business Development & Outreach Updates
McDermott updated the IDC on recent business development and outreach efforts.
