Aaron Salter, MYS Director of Coaching, and John Baratao, NEFC South Coach, attended the meeting to talk about Sunday field availability to rent fields at Plymouth Street. Mitch Bregnard and Sherri Gurnon expressed concern with giving Sundays to MYS/NEFC when they already have Monday through Saturday. Mr. Bregnard stated that by giving MYS/NEFC Sundays, that eliminates any other group to have access to the fields. Ms. Gurnon showed Mr. Salter and Mr. Baratao that at this meeting alone, we have issued access to those fields on Sundays to many other groups. She raised the issue that Sundays is the only day that Mansfield Parks and Recreation has to make revenue, but also, for access to other groups in the community. At the end of the discussion, Mr. Bregnard informed Mr, Salter and Mr. Baratao, that the decision regarding Sundays will be at the discretion of the Parks and Recreation Department and the Recreation Commission, 4.
