Executive Session —Superintendent's Office
TUESDAY, October 9, 2007
An Executive Session Meeting of the Mansfield School Committee was held on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at
the Superintendent's Office at 7:00 P.M.
Members Present:
Mrs. Jean Miller, Chairman
Mr. Michael Trowbridge, Vice Chair
Mr. Frank DelVecchio
Mr. Steven Greenberg
Mrs. Lisa Losiewicz
Also Present:
Mrs. Brenda Hodges, Superintendent of Schools
Mr. Edward Vozzella, Director of Finance
Motion was made by Mr. Michael Trowbridge, 2nd by Mrs. Lisa Losiewicz to adjourn from Open Session to
Executive Session for the purpose of discussion of AYP information and Union correspondence. Roll call
vote: Mrs. Miller, yes: Mr. Trowbridge, yes: Mr. Greenberg, yes: Mrs. Losiewicz, yes: and Mr. DelVecchio
arrived at 7:10 P.M.
Motion UC: 4 - 0
Discussion began regarding correspondence received from the Secretary & Clerks and the Food Service
Bargaining Units to begin negotiations for new contracts. The committee briefly spoke of forming a
Negotiation Committee for future negotiations.
Mrs. Hodges gave a brief explanation of the AYP information to the School Committee. The MCAS results,
received late on Tuesday afternoon, showed that the students had made great gains overall. There would be
more discussion at the Open Meeting.

28, 2007 at 7:30 P.M. for the sole purpose of adjourning. Roll call vote: Mrs. Miller, yes: Mr. Trowbridge,
yes: Mr. Greenberg, yes: Mr. DelVecchio, yes: Mrs. Losiewicz, yes.
