Executive Session — Town Hall, Room 2A, B
TUESDAY, August 28, 2007
An Executive session meeting of the Mansfield School Committee was held
at Town Hall, Room 2A, B at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 28, 2007.
Members Present:
Mrs. Jean Miller, Chairman
Mr. Michael Trowbridge, Vice Chairman
Mr. Frank DelVecchio
Mr. Steven Greenberg
Mrs, Lisa Losiewicz
Also Present:
Mrs. Brenda Hodges, Superintendent of Schools
Motion was made by Mr. Trowbridge, 2"d by Mrs. Miller to adjourn from
Open Session to Executive Session for the purpose of discussion of
Personnel Discussion and Legal Update. Roll call vote: Mrs. Miller, yes;
Mr. Greenberg, yes; Mr. Trowbridge, yes; Mrs. Losiewicz, yes; and Mr.
DelVecchio arrived at 7:10.
Motion U.C. 5-0
Personnel information was discussed by the Superintendent and School
Committee. Mrs. Hodges reported speaking with Andrew J. Waugh, Esq.,
school counsel, regarding, compensation for services rendered for the interim
principal at Qualters Middle School. A lengthy discussion with the
Committee and Superintendent regarding other possible future options.
Mrs. Hodges informed the School Committee she will continue to seek any
legal option that may be available to compensate for the services rendered to
the Middle School for July and August.
Other information discussed related to two letters received from the attorney
representing Mansfield Public Schools regarding a possible grievance of a
Middle School teacher based on age discrimination. The School
Committee will be kept updated.

Motion was made by Mr. Trowbridge, 2nd by Mrs. Miller to adjourn the
executive session meeting of Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 7:35 PM for the
sole purpose of adjourning. Roll call vote: Mrs. Miller, yes; Mr.
Greenberg, yes; Mrs. Losiewicz, yes; Mr. DelVecchio, yes; and Mr.
Trowbridge,.
