Executive Session Minutes for Tuesday, May 18, 2010
Superintendent's Office
An Executive Session Meeting of the Mansfield School Committee was held in the
Superintendent's Office @ 7:01 P.M. on May 18, 2010. A motion to open the Open Meeting
was made by Mr. Michael Trowbridge, 2"d by Mr. Frank DelVecchio with a roll call vote and
called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman, Mrs. Jean Miller. A Motion to go into Executive
Session was made by Mrs. Jean Miller, 2"d by Mrs. Lisa Losiewicz at 7:01 P.M., after which they
will return to the Open Session.
Members Present — roll call vote to enter into Executive Session:
Mrs. Jean Miller, Chairman; yes
Mrs. Lisa Losiewicz, Vice Chairman; yes
Mr. Frank DelVecchio; yes
Mr. Michael Trowbridge; yes
Mr. Jim Perry
Also Present:
Mrs. Brenda Hodges, Superintendent of Schools
Mr. Edward Vozzella, Director of Finance
Negotiations Update:
The Superintendent updated the Committee on the status of the correspondence from the
Division of Labor Relations and the upcoming meeting on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 2:00 PM.
Mrs. Hodges along with Committee member Lisa Losiewicz will be attending the hearing with
Attorney Kevin Bresnahan.
The School Committee decided to postpone the MEA negotiations next Tuesday, May 25, 2010
to attend a fundraiser for Jeff Parker.
A motion was made to adjourn the Executive Session Meeting of May 18, 2010 at 7:38 P.M. for
the sole purpose of adjourning and re entering into Open Session. Motion by Mr. Michael
Trowbridge, 2"d by Mrs. Lisa Losiewicz. A Roll call vote was taken to close Executive Session:
Jean Miller, yes: Lisa Losiewicz, yes; Frank DelVecchio, yes: Michael Trowbridge, yes, Jim
Perry, yes.
