Mansfield School Committee Meeting
Executive Session Minutes for Tuesday, May 22, 2018
Superintendent's Office
The open meeting session was opened and called to order by Kiera O'Neil at 6:32 pm.

Motion to enter Executive Session: Kiera O'Neil asked for a motion to enter into Executive Session
pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30A, Section 21 for the Following Purpose: Under Exception No. 2, To
conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with nonunion personnel or to conduct
collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with nonunion personnel.

Committee discussed Teresa Murphy's contract. The length of contract was extended by one year so
that it now ends June 30, 2021. This keeps the contract at a 3 year contract. Salary increases were
discussed. The committee calculated various increases and discussed reasons for/against each.
Decision was made to offer Teresa a 2.25% increase bringing her salary to $173,825.
Committee asked for a report of Teresa's absences for the year. This information will be provided next
week.
Motion made to approve contract changes of a) one additional year and b) salary increase of 2.25% for
a salary of $173,825 was made by Linda Fernando/Jenn Walsh.

Teresa entered the meeting at 6:45pm. The committee presented their contract changes. Teresa
thanked the committee.
