Mansfield School Committee Meeting
Executive Session Minutes for Tuesday, April 24, 2018
Superintendent's Office
The open meeting session was opened and called to order by Kiera O'Neil at 6:32 p.m.

Teresa Murphy, Superintendent of Schools
Motion to enter Executive Session: Kiera O'Neil asked for a motion to enter into Executive Session
pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30A, Section 21 for the Following Purpose: Under Exception No. 2, To
conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with nonunion personnel or to conduct
collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with nonunion personnel

Teresa asked the School Committee to consider salary adjustments for assistant
superintendents and assistant principals.
Teresa explained the role of our administrators from school to school including the various
"extra" responsibilities. These activities include many nights, weekends and vacation weeks.
Assistant principal responsibilities are very extensive. The committee asked Teresa to update
the job descriptions as they are outdated. The committee will reconvene to further discuss
salaries once the descriptions are complete.
Kiera O'Neil called for amotion to leave executive session and to return to open meeting.
Motion to reenter open meeting at 6:S7 p.m. by Jenn Walsh / Lauren Scher.
