Executive Session Minutes for Tuesday, March 27, 2018
Superintendent's Office
The open meeting session was opened and called to order by Kiera O'Neil at 6:31 pm.
Members Present: Administration Present:

Lynn Cavicchi, Vice Chair Michael Connolly, Assistant Superintendent (Teaching/Learning)
Linda Fernando Edward Donoghue, Assistant Superintendent (Business/Operations)

Motion to enter Executive Session: Kiera O'Neil asked for a motion to enter into Executive Session
pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30A, Section 21 for the Following Purpose: Under Exception No. 2, To
conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with nonunion personnel or to conduct
collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with nonunion personnel
Motion to enter into executive session by Linda Fernando/Lynn Cavicchi

Brief update the status of administration searches.
Discussion held on legal update regarding a level II grievance. Superintendent advised the
committee that this could move to a level III which would come before school committee.
Kiera O'Neil called for a motion to leave executive session and to return to open meeting.
Motion to reenter open meeting at 6:56 p.m. by Linda Fernando / Lynn Cavicchi.
